Thought I should tell you that last weekend there was a bout of snow that lasted for a night(ish). It was amazing- finally got to see snow! The night it snowed I headed off for a friend’s birthday party- when I set off there was a light dusting of snow everywhere, but after dinner, there was enough snow on the ground for us to roll around, snowball fight, make snowmen (and snow penises!) and snow angels. Had snowball fights twice in a row, and after that sat in the warmth of the lounge for drinks while looking out the windows at the wintry scene. It was lovely how it snowed on my friend’s birthday, it was like a gift from the heavens. (picture above shows the view from outside my window)
