C: I do human bio, chem, maths 2CD, accounting, english. What subjects do you do?
B is for Bitch: (in snooty tone) I do literature, french, double maths*, chem and physics.
Me, sitting there and seething, and thinking, damn. should have stood up for C and said my array of nerd subjects, so as not to give this person the satisfaction that she's so 'smart.'
* double maths is maths specialist (for wannabe engineers or mathematicians, equivalent in A levels- further maths) and maths 3AB (highest non-specialist maths)
stages in maths, from easy to hard: maths 1CD (for vocational study) maths 2AB (easiest TEE maths) 2CD, 3AB, 3CD (year 12 only) and specialist 3AB and specialist 3CD.
Just can't believe awhile back I was so sensitive about appearing too nerdy, doing three sciences and here is this girl who thinks she's all that when she does all these subjects. I really don't know what to think.
